Winter Clothing Drive at The Connection

Sponsored by Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York, The Connection is a teen pregnancy prevention youth drop-in Center at 1700 Main Street in Niagara Falls. At The Connection, youth ages 11-19 years old can spend after-school hours doing homework, relaxing in a safe space or engaging in health and education-focused activities. Formerly located at the City Market, The Connection has been serving Niagara Falls youth for nearly 15 years.

The staff at The Connection has put out an appeal to the community for the donation of “teen-sized winter coats” and other winter gear such as boots, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens. Items can be dropped off at The Connection during the hours of 2:30-6 pm Monday-Friday.

The Connection is a FREE after-school space for teens in Niagara Falls. Meals or snacks are served daily. There are games, contests, computers and printers available. The Connection Coordinator, members of the Teen Peer Program, and Community Trainers lead lively discussions and educational sessions. We offer cooking classes, book clubs and opportunities for youth to develop community leadership skills. Contests, field trips and other activities are chosen and developed by teens spending time at The Connection.
