At the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum this past weekend Santa stopped by for a visit with kids across North Tonawanda during their annual Santa on the Carrousel event.

Organizers have been holding the event for more than ten years and it has become a community staple.

Prior to riding the carrousel, the kids had lunch with Santa and got to tell him what they want for Christmas.

“Santa is here riding the Carrousel with all the families that come in and Santa goes and sees all the kids here, we have some crafts, some games going on, and we even have a train set up,” said Megan Hahin, Director.

The event will be held for the next four Saturday’s in a row and for many it is the perfect way to kick off the Holiday season.

“I think people like that community feel and coming out to support a local museum and we are very excited to have everyone here,” said Hahin.
