The Lockport City Democratic Committee is looking for new members to join for the next term, Chairman Roger Sherrie announced today. “The LCDC is the official local arm of the Niagara County Democratic Party and has oversight over all Democratic Party activities within the City”, explained Sherrie.

“While the LCDC establishes the priorities and activities of the party within the City of Lockport, we do not lose sight of the Democrat Party’s tradition of representing all the people; working for effective government and developing strong leadership for responsible political action”, added Sherrie.

“We advocate for values consistent with our Party’s traditions of inclusion, equal opportunity, social and economic justice, empowerment, patriotism, equality, freedom, fairness, shared prosperity, compassion and hope”, concluded Sherrie.
